At BYU we have two Roland labs. The keyboards are HP1500's and the
communications systems are Roland's TL12 and TL16 hooked together to
service a 20 station+teacher lab. We are in the process right now of
adding Mac computers to one of the labs with overhead projection and
multimedia gear. The most difficult problem for us to overcome is
security on the room and still leave it available for a lot of hours
during the day and evening. We attach a small MIDI box to each
keyboard and that is what the headsets with microphones plug into and
how they are connected to the communication systems. Service
problems rarely amount to anything more than a bad MIDI cable or a
damaged plug on the MIDI box or headphones. We attach the headphone
cables to the keyboards with cable ties that screw into place.

Have a good weekend everyone.
