The PTG Membership Directory has a listing of "Technicians Organizations
in Other Countries" (p.13 in `94 edition). It includes the Canadian
Assoc. of Piano Technicians as well as La Fraternite de Accordeurs et
Techniciens de Piano du Quebec and the Ontario Guild of Piano Technicians.

How do the dealers with whom you deal feel about you owning such a
publication? I don't suppose the Ancott goes as far as, say, Consumer
Reports' auto shopper subscription which gives breakdown on what each
component costs (ie. stereo, different paint jobs, seat coverings, types
of glass, etc.)? I wonder if the local library carries a copy of the
Ancott. Probably not enough demand....
