MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma with technical training from a recognized school of piano technology or college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Music with courses in piano technology; Craftsman certificate from the Piano Technicians Guild; ability to tune aurally using advanced procedures and tuning checks. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Music in piano is highly desirable; general music background desirable; experience in an institutional setting with concert tuning, voicing, rebuilding and maintenance (such as work for a conservatory of music or major music organization); supervisory experience with students.
