Barbara: I have a lot of those systems in place here at SMU too. NOTHING is foolproof. Last semester the Wind Ensemble did a concerto for Piano and WE. They never said anything to me about using piano (they usually don't) and the piano was pretty bad. Now I've told all ensemble directors that if they don't let me know it's their tough luck. This past week-end Bill Ransom did the Rhapsody in blue with original Ferde Grofe arrangement. Fortunately they did let me know. Dave Porritt, RPT SMU
