FYI, the following item appeared in the Toronto Star.  It was reported by
the New Yorker magazine, May 29, 1995:

OTTAWA--Children will have to resort to playing golf and football if they
are denied easy access to hunting rifles and shotguns, a pro-gun lobbyist
has complained.
