Has anyone out there ever considered the marketability of renting practice space? For instance, a group/individual needs a place to practice or a piano to play on for practice. Finding a church or other providers of this opportunity involves perhaps some social interactions that some people would rather pay a small fee to avoid. This would be, perhaps, a source of extra income for institutions that have pianos with time that the pianos aren't being used. The pratice space and piano could be rented out for an hour or two, the fee would supplement the music department's maintenance budget, or the technician would get some additional exposure to the piano playing public, depending on who owned the piano and the space it was kept in. If this has been tried, and worked or failed, what fees were being charged?
