Correction and Apology

Colleagues,

In an earlier post, I wrote that Renner shanks & flanges for the Hamburg
were much more expensive now than before-over 800.00, I believe. That
statement, it turns out, is misleading, at best.

As a point of clarification, those parts only cost that much when they are
ordered through Steinway and Sons--NOT when they are ordered through Renner
USA.

My most sincere apology to Lloyd Meyer, Renner USA, and anyone else who was
misled by my previous post.
