I found a video at the local library by Fine Woodworking on Furniture Repair. Aside from a lot of good wood repair demonstrations, the instructor gives a lot of examples of Hide glue uses. I had heard people talk about hide glue, but had never seen it in actual use. After seeing this video, I immediately went out and got a glue pot.
