Dear Pianotech, I recall reading a post either here, or on rec.music.maker.piano, about Glenn Gould. It had to do with a time he was in a recording studio. Something to the effect that he was never satisfied with the playback of his recording, it didn't sound right. So the technicians moved the microphones continually on re-takes until the staff discovered that placing the microphones by each side of his head reproduced the sound that he was hearing. Anyone remember or have this post? Keith A. McGavern, RPT kam544@ionet.net Oklahoma Chapter 731 Oklahoma Baptist University Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA
