Hi Audrey,

Depends on how loose they are..  I try it with  meting  flush and turn
the pin in half way , if I think the taut is fine I leave alone, if not
turn out and put a bit more on.   It is  trial and error,   the flush
normaly works first time and they turn quite nice as well.
