In line with that past thread, I will share a creaking problem on the shift pedal of a 20 year old Steinway D that I had recently which left me scratching my head for at least a couple of hours. After lubricating and/or tightening everything even remotely relevant, It STILL persisted. The answer? I will send that later today. Dennis Johnson
