Spurlock Felt Cutter

	Several people have recommended the Spurlock felt cutter to get
uniform cuts on damper felt.  I haven't tried one yet but I have seen
one.  Before I purchase one, can anyone offer an explanation why this
cutter will cut straight.  It seems that the felt would still be getting
compressed as the blade goes down and therefore the cut would not be
straight.
