The only "problem" I have is that it is a PTG member "benefit" for which
almost 5% of our members aren't eligible simply because we live on the other
side of an imaginary line.

The issue of Canadians being ineligible for what appears to be a standard
member benefit merely because we are Canadian has been going on for many
years although it hasn't been a particularly "hot" issue. Does it take a
motion in council to do something to rectify this or could a phone call to
Jerry get the wheels moving? I would think this would be a rather simple
matter that the PTG would want to deal with since it does affect about 180
members.
