One double car garage space for working and one single car garage for piano
storage and storage of case parts of projects in progress. I had three grands
and on upright in the shop and still had room to work on all four instruments.

You will need tools and space to work with them;
      drill press, floor model
      band saw
      belt and disk sander
two or three 3'x5' work benches with vises
computer, desk, book cabinets and other office supplies
      storage shelves and cabinets
Wall space for tool racks, peg boards and cabinets
Microwave, small fridge, stereo equipment and speakers
      Table saw
      thickness planer
      jointer
      Superb lighting
      WINDOWS
      Electric hoist
Double door access with SECURE locks
      elevator for moving pianos

Space is needed to work on and around pianos. A cramped shop is counter
productive. Two to four projects should be accomodated with space enough to
work on all pianos.
