belt sanding bridge pins...

I don't use anything special for belt sanding new bridge pins.  The
belts are good quality 40-60 grit (though the grit changes pretty fast
when taking steel pins down).
Regarding nickle or chrome (plated ?) pins, I don't have any experience
with them nor do I know of a handy source.  Someone else does though,
I'm sure.  As for the aesthetics of chrome over copper, I'd say its a
judgement call.  I don't have anything against the look of the copper
plated ones, myself.
