Don, Thanks for you reply on the "black plastic" material. There has been an ongoing discussion on the harpsichord list about a black plectrum material someone has on his harpsichord (black delrin, whatever) and I knew about the black material in Kawai pianos and just wondered if it could be the same, or some variation of it.
