Earlier, someone mentioned strengthening the damper spring. A properly placed damper doesn't require much spring pressure and strong springs will affect the touch -- before you tighten the springs don't forget to release the key and press lightly on the damper head to see if more pressure solves the problem. You can also touch lightly slightly above and below the damper to see if moving it is going to help. Bob Davis
