There is a panacea.  This is it:


Match the strike weight to the strike ratio to provide desired FF touch.

Balance the keys to an appropriate uniform Balance Weight, and make sure the
the Friction Weight is not too high or too low for PP touch.

Check coinciding arcs (geometry):

1.Capstan contact point should be on a line between the key balance point
and the wippen center - key at mid stroke.

2.Action spread should be such that friction at the Knuckle/jack contact
point is not too high or too low.


Choosing action parts can effect the strike ratio, but the key ratio has to
be taken into account if the desired strike ratio is not achieved by
selecting parts.
