hitch pins

I asked the original question about hitch pins.  I asked this forum because I
expected to get answers from many people.  You didn't let me down.  I now
feel comfortable proceeding.

I had never in 25 years of piano work experienced a broken hitch pin.  Just
lucky I guess.  It is not a problem to be taken lightly, and everyone showed
that to be the case.  But in the same light, people showed it can easily be
delt with.
