Larry,
You are correct. Yamaha bought out Pianocorder so that they would not
have to contend with any patent infringements cooncerns when they brought
out their Disklavier. About 8 years ago when I was at the Yamaha facility
in L.A. they had a whole room of boex fillied with Pianocorder parts that
were taken directly from the assembly line at Pianocorder when they bought
them out. Don't know what ever became of the parts but if someone needs some
it might be worth a call.
