NO WD-40!

Thanks to those who have replied to my questions about WD-40.  When I
worried about it making "a big mess", and having been "scared to try
it",  in my original message, I had heard about it gumming up parts, but
didn't know if there was anything to that notion.  I now think I know
enough, for sure, not to use it.  I just didn't want to find out "the
hard way" on somebody else's piano.  Thanks.
