Dan, Yes, radiant floor heat is a serious problem for pianos. We have experience here in Virginia with this type of heat in some homes. The dealer is correct in suggesting a floor mat (carpet) under the piano. A Dampp-Chaser system would also help in stability. They are available in Germany (European current) from piano supply distributors. Steve Cunningham
