Almost every time I sit down to play it seems, my wife (who doesn't play)
yells out "Call the piano tuner!!"

I usually tell her I did but he's tired of cleaning off the top (which in
this house seems like the place where junk gathers) to get at it.  <g>

I might add my 113 year-old Steinway E cottage vertical sits in the place
where I tell all my clients a piano should NEVER be put - right by the front
door where this time of year it gets blasted by -20C air all day as parents
drop-off and pick-up their kids in our day home... Plus, the piano is
available for the kids to bang on most of the day.

And people ask me why I haven't rebuilt it yet...  HAH!
