Overheating!

Dear Paul and list,


Dampp-Chaser has a new device known as the Smart Heater Bar.  It is  designed
for the very reasons you have mentioned in your posts to the list.  The SHB
replaces the  humidifier heater bar and is available as a retro-fit to
existing systems or as part of a new system.  It is not yet standard so it
must be requested from your distributor.

The SHB has two probes which run along the top of the bar and act as moisture
sensors for the pads.  When the probes no longer sense moisture in the pads,
they will turn off the heater bar and turn on a crimson light indicating to
the customer that he must contact his technician to change the pads.  This
crimson light is in addition to the amber colored low water warning light.
