Dear Audrey,

    Have done this repair on a Kawai (15-yr. old). Was an unstable creature
to tune, and discovered that the bridge pins were so loose that they had
vibrated themselves to different heights (...depths?) along the bridge. I
called Kawai, and spoke with techie department. Following their advise, I
used CA rather than epoxy for the repair.

Procedure;
     Backed off the string-tension, removed the strings to one side. Evened
the height of the pins and used the thin CA from Dryburgh Adhesives at the
base of each pin. Replaced the strings, tuned it twice... and thing was
STABLE. Very pleasing to have the piano back in service, and no problems
after 2 1/2 years. Still tunable and stable.

Worked for me!

Sincerely,
