Piano moving overseas!

Hi Paul,

I think you need to make sure that the piano is wrapped absoluty waterproof,
but under conditions of low air humidity. When the temprature sinks you risk
condensation of the water in the air in your piano. This could cause a lot of
damage as a result of corrosion. Put some bags of silica-gel in the piano
to absorb excess humidity. A strong wooden case is imperative. The piano
should be connected to the case f.i. by screws in the wooden frame and the
pedal board. Unfortunately ivories will have to be removed.
