There was an extensive discussion of this subject some months ago and will be in the archive files. That said, take some teflon spray or mold release spray and coat the screw well. Drop some medium or thick CA glue into the hole and insert the screw. Come back the next day and use a quick snapping action of the screwdrive to release the screw. Place flange on rail and screw it into place. The CA glue will reform the threads and provide an excellent hold. Newton nhunt@rci.rutgers.edu
