Missing bass string

We sell a modified 1/4" wide Stanley metric/inches tape measure that
would do the trick.  We take off the carpenter's tab at the end of the
tape and rivet on a piece of brass with a hole in it, calibrated from the
back side of the hole to zero, so that the measurement it gives is from
the back of the hitch pin to whatever.  It is very simple to use and the
petite size makes it possible to get into the difficult places.  We sell
it for $9.00 (plus S & H).....a very useful addition to any toolbox.
One more thing you've gotta have
