Hi, Wim, Clean the heads, polish the wires and glue on the new felts. Make yourself a small block of wood with a hole drilled at one edge for a flat headed screw. Install sever dampers. One in the middle of each section will work fine. Install the action and set the timing of these dampers so that the key ingages the damper lever when the hammer is half way to the strings of when the key is depressed actly 1/8". Check the pedal timing and adjust accordingly. Select a flat headed screw that will adjust to the height of the now set dampers. Replace each damper, one at a time, and make it damp the best possible before going on to the next. The piano needs to be at pitch and the stringsl leveled before starting this operation. Adjust the block screw so that it is just a few thousands below the set levers. Each lever is adjusted so that it is that few thou above the screw. Don't forget to lower the stop rail when you are finished. Keep Ed's post handy, it has most of what you need to know. If you have specific questions let me know. Newton nhunt@jagat.com
