hello all, Next week I will be appraising a 1900th mason & hamlin grand, believe to be 8 ft.I have not seen the piano yet,but would like to know, if all is well with the piano what would be a fair way to appraise such an instrument.I kind of have an idea as to its value but would like a little more input on appraising. My belief is to be worth between 12,000_15,000 needing regulation, restringing, and so forth. If needing complete rebuilding i would say between 7,000-10,000, if needing nothing and cabinet in excellent ,which i doubt, I would say around $30,000- can any one tell me if im in the ballpark? jptuner nyc.
