Baldwin/Hamilton bridle straps

Thanks to those of you responded to my question about clicking on between
the bridle straps and the bridle strap wires.  This is not a case where the
wires are hitting anything -- it is isolated between the wire and the end
of the strap -- just wondered if anybody had any solutions besides
replacing all the straps / this happened to me in a performance situation
this week.  I loosened the ends of the straps off the wires, kind of
"roughed them up" a little on the end and put them back on the wires, but
not tightly.  This seemed to work / had to do a couple of times on some to
completely elmiinate clicking.
