In my opinion, the customary terminology in the piano business is that a
soundboard made up of layers is "laminated" and one without layers is
"solid", regardless of what kind of wood is used.  Calling a layered
soundboard "solid" is at best confusing, at worst, deceptive advertising.
 (Samick got into trouble with the FTC a few years ago over this issue.)  Is
the Wurlitzer spinet in question the model in current production?  Ancott
lists it as having a laminated soundboard, not (completely) of spruce.
