neck pain

If the neck pain persists, it's also not a bad idea to get a CT scan and
make sure of what is going on. That's how the herniated disc in my neck
was discovered, and it answered a lot of questions about how the pain was
being caused. It will also help with the great exercises that Kent
posted, because you'll have more information about what you are dealing
with (or with what you are dealing). Doing the stretches in the shower
with hot, steamy water from the shower massage is a great way to get the
day started.

If you have seen those microwave heat packs called "bed buddies" -- heat on
the neck after a long day feels great. Just 2 1/2 minutes in the microwave
and you're set for 30 minutes or so. A nice glass of red wine can also
help. Sitting outside on a Sunday afternoon in the rain watching your
football team lose in the final minutes can undo all the good you've done,
so you have to be careful. :)
