Glenn, Restringing is the best option. I would use Yamaha strings though. I have taken a scotchbrite pad to strings with success. It will remove a lot of the corosion except around pins and bearing points. The sound board can be wooled with 0000 with a bit of paste wax moistened with mineral spirits (very little needed) lightly rub with the grain and it should clean up nicely. Ed Tomlinson
