Soundboard Thoughts

Hi, Barrie,

One reason for not using agraffes on the bridge is because they become
loose over the years and then move enough to cause false beats in the
tone.

I have been thinking more in the line of using metal plates with bridge
pins screwed to the bridge. These could be mode to be just right for
good termination, sufficient draft, optimum pin spacing and kept tight
to the bridge with an occcational tightening of the screws.

Fewer bridge problems and ease of adjusting bearing when needful.

Just some thoughts.
