To Danny and The List,

Stephen Birkett has it right, Steinway measures the case of the piano, not
including the lid.  If you send us the serial number we would be happy to
clear up the confusion about the manufacture date.

BTW, did anyone catch Jeopardy last night?  The model S "Baby Grand" was
the question to one of the answers.
