A spinet that has the metal forks sticking out of the backs of the keys will not repeat correctly if the sticker wires are bent in a curve due to someone pushing the wire instead of the nut at the top to reinstall the sticker into the fork! It leaves the back of the key suspended just above the rest felt. 2. If the dip is too deep or the jack regulation rail is too far back, the jack will hang up on the felt on the back of the rail. The key hangs up at full depression and in check. 3. Did you try tapping the tuning pins a little to be sure you have a pin block problem? Good Luck with your quandry. May you make a happy choice!
