Unusual bridge pinning on Behr Bros

I have run into the same thing in a Behr Brothers piano. There was something
on the plate or somewhere, bragging about the patented bass bridge tension
compensating design, or some such wording. I guess the idea was that if you
pinned every other one the opposite way, you wouldn't create a twist torque
(I don't know how to put it. You wouldn't be twisting the whole bridge to one
side). The Behr Bros. I worked on was a fine instrument. Was sorry when it
moved to Corvallis OR.
