Super glue, thick 'Gel" works good-Or try "Hot Stuff" cyanacrolate (super glue spelled incorrectly, I'm sure!) You can get it from one of the suppliers... And it is FAST-but be careful-it sometimes SMOKES a little... No tying needed-just apply sparingly and hold it together for a short while (30-60 seconds) and voila!
