Dear List, Thank you for the tip of using Protek on strings and underfelt. I had a Heintzman grand that used to give me tuning trouble. Protek solved it. My only concern is: Can Protek creep to the tuning pins and pinblock? I used it on this piano knowing that the block will be replaced in about a year, but I wonder about using it on a piano that doesn't need a block yet. Is it safe? Has anyone had problem resulting of that use of Protek? Many thanks in advance. Marcel Carey, RPT
