Brass rail short tongues

I have a Bush and Lane 1913 with a brass rail but the tongues are
short, so that the repair clips are too long, and have to be ground
down, or the action rail has to be carved out.  Does any one know of
short repair clips that are being sold?  The Kimball repair clips are
short, but the threads are in the wrong part.  The threads must be in
the plate, not in the clip.
	Only three tongues are broken, so at the present I have not
considered having the rails duplicated. Thanks
