For those of you too cheap (oops! That should read thrifty) to buy those
fancy plugs everyone is talking about, and who find the foam plugs too
constricting to hearing all you need to, *Have I got a deal for you*!

I found, as a stop-gap plug, a nice filter plug at my local WalMart. It was
located in the sporting goods section with all the shot gun shells, bullets,
and all that other militia stuff. Anyway, they look like regular rubber
earplugs, but they have a 6 db filter attached to them (removable for
cleaning). They work great for fine tuning, after your ears get used to them.
And if they don't fit, the company also sells 2 other sizes of plug that can
be used with the filter. Oh, the best part is that they cost a whopping $6.95
California cost. (I'll see your 15 db with 2 pair of 6 db and have change
left over for a couple of tickets to see The Phantom of The Opera!)
