DEER MICE CARRY A VIRUS FATAL TO HUMANS!!!! WARNING!!! Before cleaning up Mouse leavings in pianos you should read the article in the current PTG Journal about the FATAL virus carried by Deer mice in most of the continental U.S., Canada and Mexico!! The virus is transmitted through mouse feces, urine and bodily fluids. If the virus is in the dust of the piano and you use a vacuum, you will be breathing it in as well as contaminating the customers' house. If you have cuts or lesions on your skin, the virus could infect you that way! THIS SITUATION IS SCARY, LIST! We need to change the way we handle mouse cleanup!
