Metric Wire sizes

Hi Avery, Gina, and David:

I was looking thru the Hechscher Piano Parts catalogue on the WEB and
found a table of equivalents of wire sizes in metric and decimal. It
seems that in general the metric sizes which increment in quarters are
a half size smaller than our decimal sizes.

You can find Hechscher at:

http://www.airtime.co.uk/forte/hechscher/heck.htm

Choose the catalogue icon, then choose the letter S for strings, then
arrow down to Steel, then arrow down to the table of Roseau wire specs.
catalog no. 141 (500 Gram coils). No. 141A is for tin plated, and 141D
is for 100 Gram coils.
I don't know if Roseau is different from Roslau, it just may be a=20
misprint. (sorry, you have to supply your own umlauts.)
