Danny. you are welcome. No offense taken, I assure you. I admit to a real deep rooted aversion to cutting in to an S400, (or any quality piano, for that matter). If it is only a wee hole, no problem...I was not aware that there was a MIDI "kit" that would involve so little invasive surgery. My sense of the situation was that if action and response was important, I doubt anything less than a very sophisticated velocity sensitive system would be any less frustrating. And such a system, in the various incarnations of which I am aware, won't come cheap either. "For every complex question, there is an easy answer...and it's wrong." Steve
