leather dye

Hi Ed

I usually apply the dye quite heavily and buff them out with a soft
cotton cloth by hand BEFORE they are quite dry. I haven't found it
necessary to use a wheel and haven't had any come off on my fingers once
dry. Drying time is quite rapid since the vehicle is normally plain
rubbing or isopropyl alcohol.

The finish will not be a glossy finish unless you want to shoot them with
clear laq
after. I don't do this. If I want a gloss finish I simply replace them
with plastic. (once
in thirty-five years)

Hope this answers your question.
