Warren, list --

I keep most of what I save stashed in Eudora, in a mailbox three layers
deep. In Eudora if you click on "send again" or "forward" you can also cut
and paste, add other posts, and change order. Watch the addressing (!) or
your newly organized effort could get sent to the list. When you are done,
use "transfer" to put the material into the right mailbox.

For special things which I want on paper, I also export to MSWord. In
addition to the advantages that Warren mentioned, you can reformat them,
widening margins, eliminating run-on lines, straightening out the >> > ,
clipping excess addressing, replacing _****_ with real italics, changing
font and font size, etc. It takes a little while, but for unusually good
posts which I wish to share with computerless friends I think it's worth it.
