You would be accomdating a 40 cent spread in places, so good luck. Most of the Well temperaments ask for no more than a 10 cent deviation from ET, so I don't think you would need to worry about increasing the inharmonicity of selected notes enough to scale them differently. ET is a good approximation through the middle of most other tunings, and I use it for voicing a piano, then begin using something else. I say, the ET scale will provide you the best place to start.
