Serial Number - Thanks all!

Thanks to all those who responded about the missing serial number on the
Vose & Sons, 
(A piece of @*&^\"#! instrument that I wish I never met).

I never found a stamped serial number ANYWHERE. I am convenced that if I
had torn the instrument completely apart, I would still have never found
one. I did, however, find a hand-written number under the keyframe,
#90088. This would be about 1924. I think the piano might be a little
younger than that, but perhaps not. It will have to do.
