Lar
The '83-'85 Player Piano Co. catalog lists a Gourley, Winter & Leeming,
Ltd. (Toronto) - 1. The "-1" indicates a Standard player action was
used. I second Les Smith's opinion about the Standard Action, it is THE
desirable player action to rebuild. There are others, Aeolian stands out,
but Standard was common to many more of the better brands.
Here is a test for how well a Standard rebuild is. Pump it, then get up
and walk away, it will continue playing for five seconds or longer. With
practice you can make it sound almost as good as any reproducer.
